    Point in case.... :nono: Some people just need to STFU until they have something better... I've said in the past I'd take a Mint GE over a turd GTE anyday and it still stands.

    Have to wonder as a LOT of the GTE's I see are PoS as well.... We're 50c off the $7 a gallon mark here.. (probably happen this week with the surge in Oil prices)

    Turbo makes it's own ram air, NOT ingesting water/foreign objects was far more important for me. ;)

    Tim: Gotya ;) (I'd have used a sleeve clamp for the swaybar mount and gone with the turnbuckle arrangment if I were doing it and adjustability was important)

    TBC: Not a list as such but I used a 4" 45 silicone bend off the Turbo into the JIVAT Filter can then some 4" ducting I had left over from the Datsun 240z project 20 years ago ;)

    Worst case scenario is the Octane drops you detonate the motor and at best pop the HG at worst you break a ring land...... Is saving at most $100 of gas worth that risk?

    DBnO: Yep there's a big gap at the side of the radiator support panel that get's cold air from the grill and any water that comes in will miss the duct opening.

    Here they add benzine to base stock to raise the octane and it's very volatile and if left sit too long you end up back at low octane.
