    The Cressida pump is a cast Aluminium thing so the pickup isn't interchangable onto a GE or GTE pump body. I did a custom pickup for a buddie's 7MGTE Crssida but didn't take any pic's and neither did he sorry. (I asked last night when I posted this) The GTE pump has longer internal gears...

    SBC/weight (LS series makes more sense) 1UZ/only +1 litre capacity (may as well just turn the boost up on the 7M) 7MGTE/needs dedication to make reliable power (you can't cut corners it WILL bite you) Remember this is my opinion only and I'm sure many will disagree ;)

    Dunno maybe enough AIR volume by that stage? The test I posted above will confirm/rule it out and costs nothing to try.

    2 pumps may be enough to create a vacuum in the tank and this will starve the engine. Next time it's down to half a tank try taking the cap off and driving it to see if it still leans out.
