I agree with all of the above. You WILL know when you hit fuel cut. I also try to spool a little bit before the light turns green. If I spool too much then I start spinning so there is a fine line there that you have to find with your car. Nothing beats practice. Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!lol

My best time on my stock turbo was a 9.00, but most of the time it was about 9.15 or there abouts. I am running with an automatic though. Hope this helps a little.

Yeah, I had read somewhere to get something called copper spray, or something to that effect. I'm going to get the Brake Quiet spray and try it. Hopefully I won't have to use it again for a while.

Yes I'm using the ARP studs, but I just ordered them tonight from HPF.com, so I wont get them for a few days. I'll follow the instruction to the T when I get them though. Maybe not a genius, but at least a gentleman and a scholar......:biglaugh:

I just decided to replace the head gasket. My cylinder walls look brand new. They are freaking perfect. I've orderd arp studs, oem head gasket kit, divorced downpipe. I'm going to take my turbo and have it checked since it is off of the car. I have a little shaft play in it and it pisses me off...

I just bought mine from HPF.com. I've bought a good bit of stuff from them and they always ship it out in a timely manner. I think they cost $112.00 ....I'm not sure if that is right, it just popped into my head. I'd have to check my email to see if it is correct.

What is the right sequence to torque the studs down? Can someone please answer without me having to search? Yes I am that lazy........lol

I just ordered the arp studs, and now I read this. All I read when I posted about what to buy, the studs or bolts, everyone chose the studs. Now I read that their a pain in the butt to put on. I may have wished that I ordered the bolts instead. Hopefully they will work alright...

I'm replacing my headgasket, and I've read that you MUST use arp bolts for the rebuild. Do I need head bolts and studs, or just one or the other? Do most people use the bolts or the studs? I need to know pretty quick so that I can get them ordered. Thanks for the help..

I have lexus afm, 550 injectors, walbro 255, garrett to4e, manual boost controller set to 12.5 lbs, intercooler from Aaron on here, tuned with an safcii. I just dynod and made 317.2 rwhp, and 312.4 torque. Hope this helps you some.

822 or 900...........There's really not that much difference. It's more than 99.7% of us will ever make. I think anything over 820 hp is too freaking much. Not saying I wouldn't take it though. I'd be happy with 350 rwhp. I was making 317 before the tradgedy that is a blown head gasket...

I haven't made up my mind yet. I don't know where I can get the machining done on the block if I pull it. Do you know of someone locally that can and will do that?

my 50 trim is on a garrett to4e, and not a ct26. Maybe that will help clear up any questions. My car is pretty slow out of the hole. I guess that's because it weights 9000 pounds with my new leather seats.
