not posibble as of yet. 1 firmware(OS) isnt there yet, 2 the mini is a female conector, external drives are sold only in USB reg. not mini and they are male plugs. so to do this u must find a mini male to reg. USB female, then u would be able to plug in the drive.

i wouldnt run it outside, for many reasons. weather, 2 rocks could evitualy chip the ruber coating away, what if u get a short, u got to jack ur car up to get to it. it would be a lot easier to un it under the carpet or other ways inside the car, just my $0.02
