well, the castings of the heads changed, but i dont think it does anything to the performance. if you look at an early model head, it's a little difference in appearance than a late model head, but everything inside (except for cams, they changed with years) is the same. -shaeff

they didnt change. the only difference between clutches is N/A and turbo, as they use different tranny's. they did not, however, change between years. -shaeff

if you're only pushing 4psi something's wrong. stock boost is like 6.8psi... with an exhaust an intake, you should be able to take v8 mustangs, i dont even waste my time w/ the 6cyl's. -shaeff

i had that same problem on my N/A, and it turned out to be the TPS. try unplugging it, and see if the problem still occurs. with the TPS unplugged, the car will idle around 1k rpm, but it shouldnt stall like that if it's TPS related. -shaeff

thats a shame :( i carried a fire extinguisher in mine after i did my swap, and had my dad ready with it when i first fired it up. my guess, as MDC stated, was that it was a fuel spray fire. -shaeff

carrier bearing? slop in the splines in the rear end? go under the car with it in gear, (jacked up properly) and wiggle the drive shaft back and forth in the direction it rotates. too much slop will cause jerking... ask me how i know:( -shaeff

there's a '91 white package at my school in the auto tech department. (donated for vocational use, i tried to buy it, but when they're done with it, off to the crusher it goes) it has only 20k on the clock. its a shame. in a junkyard about 4 miles from the school is another white package...
