Well, I went with the AEM and now Im considering going standalone, so I will likely have to sell the AEM in favor of one that will data log.

REIGN's REBUILD! Its a beautiful thing... (THAT IS FOR SALE) =(

Looks good Jake, you got more of a bumper support than I do, lol. Getting the motor in is a big hurdle and it looks right at home in there. Cant wait to see what other little goodies go on top of it.

    what wideband to get

well it really depends on what you want to use it for. Do you just want to be able to watch the A/F ratio or do you want an output to go to a standalone? Just to monitor: AEM for standalone input: LM?

    Lucy - Im home!

Well, I did the second oil change on her yesterday. Oil looked about like I expected. Not as mettalic as the first change but definately still breaking in. Jake was right when he told me I should have named my car Christine. The more I drive her the more she is fixing herself. The off idle...

    Lucy - Im home!

You may be right John, but I tell you this: She put up one unbelievable fight and I thought I would never have her driving again. 3 times longer than I expected, 2 times the cost, and more than my pound of flesh took its toll on me thats for sure. Now that she is running and I am getting to...

    mk2 lovers - must see!

not really. What I was saying is an original like that with low miles should be kept that way. 1st gen Celicas that are original are next to impossible to find and even if you did at best you are dealing with an 18RG. Not a bad motor and certainly respectable. However good luck finding one. You...

heh, no not everyone. In fact Steven who probably deserves a shot behind the wheel more than anyone hasnt had his turn. Waseem got to drive it because he helped me get her running and showed some interest in buying her. He only got to play with about 5 lbs of boost and even at that I was kinda...

    mk2 lovers - must see!

yeah if you ask me, doing any kind of mods to it would be a damn shame. If it were mine it would get nothing but stock toyota parts from the dealership and live in a garage. Next to it would be my 1st gen celica with a 3S swap. ;)

Clean 85 low miles! No its not mine, but I wish it was. I could see that going for 6k or maybe even little more. I wonder if he wants to trade...:naughty:

Thanks Justin. So, I discovered that worm clamps + unbeaded pipes = boost leaks. Well, not exactly discovered it, more like reaffirmed it. I bought this set as a temp to figure out the routing and not screw up the good stuff, but kinda spent money I didnt think I would need to...

    Lucy - Im home!

Not really. I still plan to sell her. I just want to enjoy driving her for a little while after all the trouble I went through. I also need to get some break in miles on her. Im not sure if I will try to sell her here in Houston or wait until I get back to the NW, but either way, Im still...

    Lucy - Im home!

I feel exactly the same! All I can say is that its been a test in patience and will. For now Im keeping her, but if the right buyer comes along with the right amount of money...she will have to be sacrificed. However, if all goes well for the next couple of wekks I may in fact drive her...

    Engine kit

Yes, the pump is indeed GTE. I had my old one to compare to and it is identical. As for tolerances, OF COURSE you should tear everything down and check all your parts for fit. That goes without saying for Cheap ebay parts as well as expensive speed shop stuff. You dont want to leave anything...

    Lucy - Im home!

Hey all, Some good news for once! She runs! In fact she runs awesome! I dont even have the SAFCII hooked up and the motor is sweet. She sounds wicked, the A/F ratios are within range (could use a dyno tune though for sure), and the engine temps are right where they should be. The oil pressure is...

    Engine kit

Like I said its a toyota pump. It has the Toyota name right in the casting, though on mine it looked like someone had tried to grind the word off. It was still plain as day. Not everything is a wolf ins sheeps clothing. Sometimes a good deal is just that.

    Engine kit

This is like the 4th time someone has asked about this set. I will once again offer my opinion. I bought a bunch of stuff from that seller and they are great to deal with. Fast, cheap, communicates quickly, ships right away, combines shipping, etc. As sellers go this guy is one of the best Ive...
