that sounds like a recipie for melting or cracking your upper intake.
you can try a bolt extractor, but my guess is if you broke the head off while trying to take it off...its not coming out easily. you will most likely have to drill and tap.
or you could do what someone else wanted to do...
There are some different lugs you can get, I forget what they call them though...shoulder lugs? thats not it, but the idea is they have a longer bottom section and go deeper through the wheel.
and you are right wiisass, I didnt think about the friction factor. Bottom line for me though is...
I would have found a red light camera like IJ said just to make a point, but since it turned out to be his moms...meh. It all worked out in the end, so thats good.
Im not an expert on internals but let me offer this advise at least. Use a little wd40 and spray down your cylinder walls when the block is sitting around like that. It will inhibit the surface rust. Also if you get a big hefty trash bag, wrap up the block even while it sits on the stand. It...
are they hubcentric spacers? If so then there is nothing to worry about. If not then you have all the shearing force resting on the lugs. Not something I would want if I was autocrossing or road coursing, but probably ok for daily driving.

I liked my bitchin' betty but I was apoor college student then, and I was forever hearing "fuel level is low".
as for the mk2 digidash, I dont mind it except for that pc board green background. now if someone made a cf version I would rock it.
Yeah, I had planned to have it painted professionally. I was going to do the whole nose including the header panel which is terribly pitted, but the night I fixed the bad flex plate I came inside to a dead computer monitor. I had to spend the $200 I had for painting on a replacement :(
I...
I know how to do water injection for "steam cleaning" the carbon. I will get to that here soon. I have NO vacuum leaks. As I said its running just way too damn good to be sucking air somewhere. I checked all the vac lines they are in excellent shape for original hoses. no leaks around the...
Ive made some really nice sounding systems with used gear from ebay and closeout merchandise. Ive never spent more than $500 total on a sound system for a car, and in fact have made $350 systems that make most peoples heads turn. Alot of it is in proper installation, reasonably matched...
