It could be hung up because of the downward slope. If you can get someone to kind of rock it back a little while you try to pull it out of park that may work.
was working perfectly too. Im going to be modifying it somehow to make sure it doesnt happen again. Maybe weld the tabs to the fork? Not sure, but I find it really irritating to have to pull the trans all over again for one stupid clip.
Pulled the inspection cover on the clutch, just as I suspected...
it WAS the clip that holds the throwout bearing to the fork. So this weekend I gotta drop the trans to put a new clip on :nono:
seeing as 10:1 is the bottom of the scale on most (maybe all?) widebands you could be aproaching 9:1 for all you know. Basically you are off the scale pig rich and yes that can definately cause issues. Before I had Lucy tuned after my rebuild I would hit that far down the scale and it would buck...
of course when you make the final table money will no longer be an issue ;)
I think you are making it more complicated than it needs to be. Get an A340 built like IJ and put that in and be done with it.
The best time in Texas is after the sun goes down. Wait until the evening and go for a little drive. A little spirited driving always clears my head. (This does not mean go nuts and wreck your car, but a nice twisty road can get your mind off life if even for a few minutes)
ROFL! NOT the first time Ive heard that.
I really feel for you. I was around when my wife had to have them done and she was miserable. Im REALLY glad I never had to deal with it since Im a dentaphobic.
Im sure they told you to gargle with salt water and all that. Just hang in there it...
yeah, and they sound insane! The 1UZ with ITB's in a mk2 is also pretty damn cool and made me realize that there are other options for me rather than the typical 7M or JZ swap. In the end though I will probably go turbo for budget reasons.
OK so my first mechanical problem after doing my 5spd swap popped up today. I was accelerating through a couple gears and then hear this high pitched tinny rattle from under the car. Sounded a little like some tin foil flapping or a ....
...or a bolt rattling around in the bellhousing? It...
Will, that is not an LSD :(
The large gear is the ring gear, it is turned (driveline side of the diff) by the pinion. Count the pinion teeth and divide into the ring gear teeth to determine the ratio. Im guessing you didnt get what you paid for.
if it was an LSD you would see something that...
I thought Defiant7M was real close at one point, like weeks away from completing...and then nothing. I thought maybe he had problems when it came time to light it off and subsequently abandoned it.
If someone wanted to do some custom ITB's or maybe even some big carbs Im sure 300-400 hp would...
fuck women...
my wife of 10 years essentially walked out on me with hardly more than a few words. In the year of separation that followed we maybe spent 10 minutes talking despite my every effort to try to get her to open up.
Im not going gay or anything, but Ive decided that women are just...
Wisdom teeth are an evolutionary remnant of when cavemen would lose teeth due to poor hygene, and a harsher diet. Im more evolved and never developed wisdom teeth, dont even have the buds that they grow from. ;)
I feel for you lesser beings! :sarcasm:
most of those guys cant drive for shit. And why do people insist on bouncing off the rev limiter when heating the tires? :nono:
That charger was pretty cool though
win or lose, I would rather play a hand or sit at a table with Doyle "Texas Dolly" Brunson anyday over Helmuth.
Besides Helmuth the guy I'd least like to have to play against would probably be Gus Hansen or Freddy Deeb
if you want to know the ratio, just count the teeth on the ring gear, and divide by the teeth on the pinion. For example: 41 teeth divided by 10 = 4.10
