    resistance on coil packs

I have a little older Fluke 76 meter that has a 40 ohm scale and delta feature, it is very accurate for coils. It has a .01 ohm resolution. A standard el chepo meter has a .1 ohm resolution, and a stated basic accuracy plus X digits. Usually it is 1 up to 7 digits on most meters. That means if...

How hard is it to change engine mounts while the engine is in the car???

I should have added to put a wood block on the jack for this, but I figured that was common sense.

How hard is it to change engine mounts while the engine is in the car???

It is not that hard to do, it just takes some time because the bolts are a little difficult to get at. I think the easiest way to do it is to first undo the lower motor mount nuts, then take the weight off of the engine with a engine hoist or a jack under the oil pan (use a wide wood block so as...

    What Gear Oil?

I put MT90 in my trans about 2 years ago. It was making a very slight grinding feeling through the stick going into 1st and 2nd. After the MT90 was in there it shifted purfect after driving a few miles, and it has been purfect ever since. In my 4.30 diff I used Mobile1 75w90 (it was cheap and...

Someone help to figure out what happened with LSD?

I am not sure if the weight difference would make the noise you are describing though. The noise you are hearing seems to be when the lsd first starts to break loose. The friction modifier makes the oil basically more slippery, which quiets the lsd action, but it has the right properties to also...

Someone help to figure out what happened with LSD?

If you run straight 80w90 it might make the chatter you are having. Try changing the oil and use a good lsd oil or regular diff oil with friction modifier. I use the Ford stuff, it has worked well in my diffs and I have heard it is better then most.

What are my chances of finding a RHD MK3 on the east coast?

I said there are two available, I didnt say I was the one selling them. And even if I was I would still give my opinion on the forum. It's all in good fun anyways, if you drove up in a rhd Supra I would say "hey nice car!", not lecture you about all the concequences. How interesting would these...

    New Mark III

I don't know where you guys have been, but I have personally fixed several 7m-gte's that had coolant in the oil. It depends on how long the car was driven with a bhg, and how bad the circumstances were that caused it. Yes, exhaust gas in the coolant is more common, but oil and coolant can and do...

What are my chances of finding a RHD MK3 on the east coast?

Ok, so now my statements are absurd and all your statements are absolute truth? I will agree to disagree with you for the sake of the forum. It does not matter how you feel about it, the disadvantages are painfully obvious. I will not comment about it anymore. Sorry for making a big fuss about it.

What are my chances of finding a RHD MK3 on the east coast?

It's the safety of others I am worried about. Everybody thinks they are a great driver, yet your view WILL be blocked in many situations. Just because you have not caused an accident yet does not mean it is safe.

What are my chances of finding a RHD MK3 on the east coast?

I'm just board :icon_razz I can see why rhd would be fun but it's just not practical for anything but a show car.

What are my chances of finding a RHD MK3 on the east coast?

I'm on the rhd hater bandwagon too:icon_bigg It would be dangerous to drive on the streets, difficult to register, and you would probably get a ticket for it. Being different just to be different is lame when there is no good reason for it.

weird problem.. 3 dash lights at once..

Those lights can also be from loose battery/alternator connections or bad ground cables. But usually it's a alternator going out. Measure the voltage at the battery with the car running, it should be over 13v. If the battery voltage does not rise when you start the car then it is the alternator.
