So I wanted an in car camera mount. I looked at some different versions of home made ones and settled on a pole mount. This way I can use it in a variety of different applications, including out the sunroof and other "outside looking in" shots. Here is what I did. Extendable paint roller...

I heard this rumor that a guy in VA makes em too...Seth something or other ;) The advantage I can see to modding a 1J/2J intake is that it would look factory made. If you are going for that kind of look it might be worth it. If you simply were looking for a cheap FFIM, go custom.
