Jeff lost his virginity years ago when the circus was in town. He told me she could fold herself up and crawl into a small box and he thought that was HOT.......:naughty:
:biglaugh:
Thanks Mark and Eric, but let me remind you guys that I am a trained professional...........just not at using a dremel on pretty, shiney, pistons.
I'll use some sandpaper and I'll stop by WalMart and get a bottle of elbow grease. Hopefully it's on sale..........:biglaugh:
IJ, just for the...
My ARP head studs came in yesterday and this is what it says:
Torque values are based on 75% of the fasteners yield strength. Use the manufacturers torques sequence but do not use the engine manufacturers turque specs. Torque the nuts to 70 ft. lbs. for ARP MOLLY ASSEMBLY LUBRICANT or...
Sounds like a load of shit to me, but I hope you get your refund somehow. Most business owners know how to accept your money, but somehow they never learned how to give out refunds. It's just funny how that works.
Milo looks so sad because you've neglected the supra for so long. I think deep down he hates the truck...........Just an observation. It's not like he told me personally or anything.
That wax thingy majig looks pretty good. Can you paint it and mount it to the sup?
Detonation? We will have no detonation going on in this engine. That's why I"m only going to run 6.5:1 cr...........I'm not willing to risk it again. I may run seventeen seconds flat in an 1/8 mile, but I will get there eventually and my motor will have all of it's pistons in tact.
Thanks for...
I bought my kit from Shaeff on here and I grounded it under the dash and I havne't had a code 52 since then. I highly recommend his kit. It's as good as it gets.
Can you tell a difference from that to 8.5:1? I'm going monday to measure the cc of my head and my pistons to try and come up with the correct gasket thickness for my CR. I was leaning towards the 8.5:1 though unless you know of a reason not too. Does the 8.9:1 give you more power without boost...
I'd never heard of that Red, but it's not too late for me to do something about it. I have a Dremel tool and lots and lots of sandpaper. I've already taken the pistons to the machine shop, but they're only thirty five minutes away and I'll be going by there monday to take care of this.
Why...
I could really use a hand with some vinyl siding tomorrow Jake. I'll see you at 6:30....Thanks.
I'm really glad he's doing great, and sometimes moral support does more than you think.
I did mean that Pete, but I didn't know I should leave extra clearance when building them. I'll have to talk with my machine shop. I'm not holding you responsible if it's not right Ian............:biglaugh:
You 7m guys are always trying to play in our 1jz games..................:biglaugh:
I'm not trying to spoil anything for you BigZ, but is it true that porting and polishing doesn't help anything unless we go with larger valves. That's what I was told, but mine was already p&p. I was just...
