I had a 1977 Celica GT - same color as that one.
Neat car. Got hit head on by a 70's Ford F-250 and walked away. Poor car was totaled but it kept me alive.
http://www.etn.fm <- E-vangelist (the owner) drives a Supra (he's a good friend of mine..)
The trance stream there rocks.
Nice downloads btw. I made copies of DJ GT Summer 2004 for me and Theresa.
I'll let one of the Cali locals prep you on the goofy California laws.
Are you just visiting? Or are you actually changing residence to there? Like will you be registering your car in Cali?
If so, I feel for you.
The "Entering California" signs at the border really should just read...
I've made a little over 600 RWHP with a 7M, T4, Lexus AFM, injectors and a S-AFC.
Yes, the LM-1 and the S-AFC will give you all you need to get a mild tune on it. :)

Cliffs: An AFPR is not a way to tune your car. It's a way to get to the proper baseline pressure.
You need something like a S-AFC to tune. Get something like or a MAFT that coupled with an LM-1 and they you can really tune...
OK, we'll back into it from here. Since you can't afford forged pistons, and the compression ratio is high. Applying boost really raises the risk of detonation. Since we are dealing with hypereutectic pistons, detonation is your biggest enemy. The factory hypereutectic pistons are very hard, and...
Sigh... Here we go again.
Boost and or horsepower don't kill engines.
The compressive load that you'd generate @ 40 psi wouldn't hurt factory rods nor would it hurt the factory pistons.
The major enemies of the factory pistons are detonation & heat. Find the ways to defeat both and...
Zerocool's car looks really nice. But there just weren't enough photos for me to really feel that I knew what the car was all about.
Kevin gets my vote. Beautiful ride.
Read this, it should help a bit:

The Titan gasket is the same as a Cometic.
The short answer, is at 20 psi, just about any of them will hold up as long as you have the correct fuel.
