Yeah, the air that goes passed the afm is measured and the correct amount of fuel goes in for that much air. If the bov opens and lets air escape after the afm to atmosphere, the fuel is still injected for it, so the engine runs very rich for a few seconds and it may stall. It can be annoying...

The RS bov has the little blue horn you can unscrew and put a pipe in it to recirculate, the Tial vents out around the body of it so you couldn't recirculate it.

It has a big 2" piston so it just sounds like air rushing out. The bigger the turbo the louder it will be. If you have an afm I would not recommend it. I have seen the same one on a 1500hp twin turbo v8, and it was sufficent enough for that even.
