When I did my swap, I replaced the front and rear seals as well as the cam seals while I had the motor out. They're so much easier to get to with the motor out. Just a suggestion though.

Can you use a ninety degree and then clock the turbo a little to make it work? Just offering suggestions. I bought a ninety degree for mine from www.driftmotion.com but I don't know if he sells fourty fives or not. Good luck.

Welcome to Supramania and good luck with the motor swap. Be sure and replace what hoses you can while the motor is out. I'd do as much preventive maintenance as I could if I were you, but you do what you want. Hopefully it'll go smoothly for you.

You drove it down the road with two flats and low oil? Start by doing proper maintenance. Change the plugs, and the oil, fix leaks. You may want to drop the gas tank to drain the crap out of it and replace the fuel filter while the tank is off. It can't hurt to get the garbage out of it that...
