You're going to be outrun by everything from redlight to redlight. You will eventually catch up with them though. You really don't need that big a turbo for a 2.5 liter. Good luck with it though.

It does sound like the valve seals to me as well. My neighbors car (89 supra) would do the same thing. It would smoke for a few minutes and then wouldn't smoke again all day. It would only smoke the next day when he cranked it again.

I'm talking about a stock C4 with maybe 240hp. I'm sure the ZR-1 would be fun to drive with almost 400rwhp, but it's still going to be lacking a little in smoothness. I just don't like the way they ride but as far as looks and horsepower they're alright. I still much prefer a z06 C5 or C6.

Your question is going to be hard to answer, but I will tell you a well built 7m will hold 450rwhp for along time with proper maintenance and upkeep. Not too many people on here have the know how to build them properly though. I chose to go with a well built 1.5jz because I'm one of those people...
