    Will run cooler in traffic but slightly hotter at highway speeds with the rear edgo of the hood up/unsealed. As for the TStat verify it's opening temp BEFORE fitting it.... just been through all this and out of 3 stats I have only 1 works consistantly the other 2 exhibit weire fluctuations in temp.

    Yep can't think of anyone in Modern times that Mirror polishes intakes (or exhausts for that matter as they stay polished for about 50 miles)

    Most of these kids are seriously lost now... Both my current cars are OBDI/II and are an exponential leap in complexity, one is a 2004 model the other is a 2005 and just in that one year span the later management system is twice as complex....

    ALWAYS ran +1qt after losing a GE under brakes on the way home from Sydney.. Just fill it till it's full on the Dipstick then add a Qt redip it and mark the stick with a new full mark... not exactly Rocket Surgery..
