I have the stinger standalone and it has served me well. It doesn't offer as many options as the motec, but I dont' need them. Aaron at www.driftmotion.com can make you a stinger with a plug and play harness for around $1100.00 and then it will only take you about fifteen minutes to hook it up...

I like the stinger for my MKIII and the guy that tunes it loves it. He saids its the easiest ems he's ever worked with. The 200.00 for the plug and play harness is money well spent in my book, but you could probably hook it up yourself if you wanted to save the money. Good luck.

Welcome Stephen. Pictures are always welcome'd and appreciated, but statements about settleing for a MKIII.......not so much. You either like MKIII's or you don't. It's not really a car that will grow on you. I happen to love them. Good luck either way.
