MKIII front on the MKIV just doesn't flow. It's what happens when a box gets sucked into a whirlpool of newschool, bubbly doom.

That's not too far off from my next setup. (sitting here waiting to go on my next motor) Greddy tubular manifold, HKS 50mm wastegate (authentic;)), 3.5" v-band downpipe. :) Will be mated with a GT35r. I can't wait to hear that!

I was pushing around 300rwhp/ 300rwtq through mine for a while, with a very, VERY heavy right foot. Upgraded clutch, and lightweight flywheel, and it was still holding like a champ. :) 400rwhp seems to be the golden mark, but if you drive like a grandma, it'll last you forever. I romp on mine...

Considering the HKS downpipe uses the stock elbow, (or aftermarket equivalent), one would assume that it uses a stock style gasket on both ends. ;) And I would also assume that since Nick stated the exact same thing, I would trust his word because he HAS an HKS downpipe. :)

That's awesome, Brent. That car sounds nasty. :) I love it. I haven't even thought about wiring in the DIS4, yet. Aside from the brittle wiring, I was hoping it wouldn't be too bad. However, I enjoy wiring on my car, so even if it's terrible, I'll likely enjoy it. Haha. Nice work.

They are... relatively... I just did the headgasket on mine, and while I was in there, I also did the Timing set. Ready to go for another 150k. Most people don't have that problem, it's just that I think the P.O. neglected this thing.
