    Aftermarket CT26 Manifold

Not that I'm aware of. I guess my question would be why would you want such a thing? The CT-26 (modded or not) is already outflowed by the factory manifold. The internal wastegate design is shit, the oil/water feed & return line design is a royal pain in the ass. Why would you spend the...

    Another stupid law.... *shakes head*

I'm forced to disagree with you on this provided the definition of "adult" is someone over 18. If the law applies to a 14 year old kissing a 13 year old, I'd call it stupid. No 18 year old has any business kissing a child that way. Theresa is 15 years younger than me. I obviously have no...

    Choosing Exhaust sizes

From my understanding, with a massively oversized exhaust this isn't true. Once you "fill" the larger pipe (hot fast gas in one end, slow cold gas out the other is a definition of a bottleneck and in the middle gas collects) with slower/cooler gas, you're pushing more. But it's probably not that...

is it a good idea to buy a used aftermarket muffler??

1JZ30 is from Malaysia. Although the bulk of our members are either from the US or Canada, we've got people from all over the world here folks. I think he means junk yard. He probably doesn't realize that here in the US, a "Chop Shop" is a place that cuts up stolen cars and sells the parts...

    '87 sunroof problem

The dealer installed stuff is all aftermarket. I've seen about 1/2 dozen different "brands" installed. You'll probably have to take it to a sunroof shop to find the correct one. Places that build conversion vans tend to have the best selection for that stuff. My old 90T had one and I had a hell...

    custom exhaust 2.75" or 3.00"

I just posted about this in another thread. The discussion is about a turbo car, but the basic theory about exhaust velocity and temperature is the same. http://www.supramania.com/forums/showpost.php?p=950217&postcount=4 For N/A, I wouldn't go over 2.75" until you are over 300 rwhp. I wouldn't...

    going back

It' generally a short in the wiring harness. It could be on the ground side or the hot side. Either one would have the same result. These are some of the hardest problems to track down. Start with the harness at the ECU and work your way towards the engine bay. 99 times out of 100 you'll find...

    Choosing Exhaust sizes

That's actually not true. (And rupmtis, I'm not busting your balls, I used to think the same thing...) Stovepipe diameter exhaust can actually hurt performance once you go to far. One of the key factors is exhaust gas velocity. You want to keep your exhaust velocity up so it gets out of the...

    going back

http://www.supracentral.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=33&Itemid=42 Code 11 means "Momentary interruption in power supply to ECU". If you are getting that, you've got a wiring problem to your ECU. Any diagnostics are a waste of time until you fix that problem.

Oil Analysis - Post your VOA and UOA Here

It shouldn't be. Stock turbo bearing failure puts brass into the oil if I remember correctly. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong on that... It's been a while...) Post it up, I think you probably have something else going on in the motor. What caused the turbo to fail? That's your real question...

    buying a supra?

99 times out of 100, on our cars it's the beginning of a blown head gasket. Other problems could be a chipped valve, bent valve, broken or worn valve spring, damaged valve guide or valve seat, damaged piston ring, cylinder wall damage, etc. Price to fix it could vary anywhere from a couple of...

    Show off your watches!

I'm not really into jewelery or watches. I wear this one daily. It's a Seiko Flight Alarm Chronograph #SNA411 I've had it a couple of years. The bezel is a slide rule, which for the handful of us who still know how to use one, it's pretty damned cool. ;)

    buying a supra?

Go offer him $2000 for it and if you can settle on a price between $2000 & $2500 then I think this car is likely worth it. With a resource like SM, even if it has a BHG or a bad valve you should be able to fix it relatively inexpensively.
