No problem, here to help ;) Whats the power goals for the motor? Is the machine shop using a torque plate for this motor? As for your cams, just get new shims of the correct thickness. edit: reread that, just get a set of used 7mgte cams. they can be had for $40 used.

Did you have the rear timing cover attached to the block when it was machined? If not its need to be on when it gets decked. As for the headgasket you dont need one that thick, you need the correct gasket thickness to maintain the same compression ratio as stock. stock headgasket thickness when...

    Bluechulappa's 89Turbo restoration

I talk to them about then and their cleaning method from what they have told me if they were going to hot tank it they would replace them however they dont do it anymore and their new cleaning method is much better and the oil shaft bearings wont have to be replaced.

    Bluechulappa's 89Turbo restoration

Lol Lincoln their way of cleaning of the block isnt i guess you can say it isnt a true hot tank, they use this other stuff that wont kill your oil shaft bearings. But to answer your question not 100% sure but im pretty sure itll need to be painted. BTW Happy Bday from SupraMania
