My uncle alway put his motors that were going to sit for a while in a thick garbage bag and sprayed oil all over it. But, since this is still in the car, I'd just use some duct tape to pug the holes, and maybe put a little oil in the ports to keep them moist.

Only problem is potential backfiring = Fire right under were your sitting. If your at stock a/f it shouldnt be a problem. I drove mine open DP for like 3 months and didnt have any problems. just cops...
