The red car is Tookwik4u. He had some tips about using a small torch, which sounded like a good idea. Have fun.

A heat gun is cheap... the # of parts you can destroy with it is a lot. Only heat from the back. be careful.

You may want to rephrase that thought somehow...:) OK, real help; I used a heat gun and a big flat screwdriver for the gauges, and slowly molded the plastic into shape. Check my thread from the begining. I did not do the fuel yet. soon.

I just painted my engine bay a few weeks ago. I use a HVLP gun instead of an air compressor. Just my .02. It is a lot of work, but I think it will be worth it in the end. There are pics in my thread if you feel like looking. Good luck.
