Here are some pictures I've had on my photobucket for a while, but I haven't posted them. One of them is in Tanya's calendar. Here are the rest. This is not my house. I don't even know who owns it. I met their son out one day while looking for a place to photograph my car. He said have it and so...
Moral support is really all I can offer you.......unless you're wanting to put a mighty 1jz in your car, and then I can help............:biglaugh:
If I can find a way around the rpm problem then I definately want a th350. I'm on a local board with lots of mustangs, ta's, camaro's and...
You won't need a ffim unless you're going for more than 400rwhp. It's an expensive thing to do unless you're a baller and have extra cash laying around. I don't remember what turbo you said you were going with, but I don't remember it being a large one. Just replace your 3000 pipe with some 2.5"...
I'm going to need a price for my installation Dave, but don't forget my good ol boy discount. Can we do it in a weekend if I drive my five speed up, and hopefully drive my automatic home?
What did you connect it to on the stinger? Is there a write up somewhere that I can read? Where did you get your info from if you don't mind? I'd like to read up on it and then do mine. Thanks, Jay
^This exactly. I think the logs are wrong. I have proof that it isn't running lean because I watch my afr's constantly, and it is also logged on the dyno runs by his computer. I think the car is running great and I think the stinger is working correctly, but the logger itself is out of whack...
It's not going to sound like a cam'd out chevrolet 350 if that's what you're worried about. You may have to bump your idle up a few rpms, but that's it. Put them on and see what you think. You can buy some adjustable cam gears reasonably if you look around. Good luck.
My 2jz studs called for 75foot pounds.
Find out how much they remove from the head and the block and add it back to the thickness of your stock head gasket to keep the same compression ratio.
That was aimed at Mike (macjac)...........not Mark...........but you try it too.......:icon_bigg
Any more info on the 12 volt solenoid valve? Please. Pretty please.
Scott, I really think it's the map sensors causing the stinger to read improperly. I used another stinger and got the same results. I'll know once I install my 3bar map sensor and I will report back.
I only posted because I too have a sense of humor. I can find humor in most things because I choose not to go through life with a stick up my ass.
That doesn't mean that I don't believe in God. I just happen to think God has a sense of humor as well.....................hopefully. I'd hate to...
Just when I thought I was a good guy and bound for heaven, I find out I'm beneath Satan himself........
After the third or fouth question, I knew I should have picked yes, but I kept picking no........what a dumbass.
That is so full of f'ing win!!!!! I laughed so hard. I had a migrain until I saw this. I'm adding it to my favorites for the next time I get a headache......:biglaugh:
I"m just doing it for the kids.
DL, I may can find you one. I have an 83 sitting out here in a field by my house that used to be mine. It now belongs to a friend of mine, but I can probably get the oil pan off of it if you need one.
I have no way of telling if your car is running lean or not. You can install a wideband to tell or you can pull one of your plugs out and inspect it. If it's really white, then it's too lean. Does it spit and sputter any? When it runs lean, it will do this sometimes as well. Good luck.
sounds like he's more 2youda's boy instead of Abe's, but I haven't read the whole thread in a while. I've forgotten who did what to whom. Good luck. We also have a dispute section in here that you can take this up with.
