I have a few questions about the interchangability of these two engines:
-Is the cylinder bore of both the 1jz and 2jz engines the same? If so can the 2jz pistons be used in place of the 1jz stockers? Would the performance be effected?
-Is the "stroke" gain of the 2jz achieved by crankshaft...
I was just looking at the JUN, HKS and CROWER websites and there was no 1JZ-GTE applications...?
I could only find the Brian Crower 1JZ cams, on the site they are listed as 1JZ-GE.
As said in the first post,
Damn all of the snow that murders the midwest:3d_frown:
Seeing these vids make me miss my car sooooo much:1zhelp:
also, is the white 2JZ MK III using a naturally aspirated bottom end? if so what are the current mods?
Sam
One of you local guys should buy my mountain bike!
It's a 2006 Gary Fisher Cake 2 dlx. In excelent condition.
Shoot me some offers or trades:naughty:
Sam
You got that backwards,
The 1JZ head has bigger valves, when combined with the higher displacement from the 2JZ you get more power. and it is much cheaper than getting the 2JZ head ported...
