The color will have the ruby in it already. You can do it with a quart (it will be 1.5 quarts when you add the reducer.) I did the underside of my hood too. I used one quart of clear as well. That only gets a pint of activator. Plan to use all of the clear you mix, as it's pot life is a...

I don't have that kind. I would kick it first, if it has been sitting. I guess after that I would check inside for a fuse, which I doubt is in there. I think it's the selector switch. They use a thin piece of copper for a contact that gets worn out. You should get some NOS for it too.:)
