It's really that low. for now. I have a date in my mind when the motor will go in, but I'm done with saying a day, and following up with why it didn't happen.
I hope to put the motor in this weekend.;)

meh. I have been mashing them around, and they seem ok, but the heat will probably change that, like you said. The paint is ultra thin, barely a coat. I'll let you know.
Edit: his tail fell off? That can't be good.:)
so, I painted those lousy blue couplers the correct color. I don't expect it to last forever, but I don't want blue under the hood.

I should have her on the ground shortly. I'll take a pic. After that, ARP flywheel bolts, and I think the motor can go in. I will need to call my mentor (sponsored1) at least 10 more times before that though.:) I did make actual progress this weekend, so it's all good.
I put a clean rag in each side, and tried to tape them in there. I cleaned the spindles by hand, (with a wire brush on a drill,) to avoid the chance of getting blast media in there. I repacked after, and I am hoping for the best.:)
