You need the usdm harness off of a 2jzgte, no you do not need a 7m ecu, no stand alone unless you want it, you can use a emanage if you want thats what i'm using. essentially the ecu will be fine the only thinks you have to adapter are the two body harness plugs. Then if you want a/c, cruise...
The harness does need to be extended. I think about 18inchs but dont quote me on that. I would just make sure you match up all the guages of wires so there the same. I'm not sure about the speed sensor question but I will try to find it and get back to you.

I went and started the car again and measured the voltage that was being supplied to the fuel pump. It was 14 volts while the car was running and after the car died I checked it again and it had fallen to 11 volts. I'm going to snag a fuel pressure guage and try to measure that here quick.
