You may have to explain why I have no ventilation. I have the stock setup installed now. Seems like the crankcase pressure would escape into the intake duct. Is this correct?

Sorry for the extra post. I don't have a PVC system. When I bought the motor for the transplant, it did not have the cover that went across the back of the head. I just blocked off the two holes. Could that be a problem?

My builder tested the crankcase pressure and said it is too high and that it is causing oil leaks. He's a knowledgable guy and builds stock and race engines for a living, so I feel like he knows what he is talking about.

Does anyone make a crankcase ventilation kit that is proven? I need one (a good one) and don't have time to piece one together.

I had mine done at performance techniques $475. I've only had it 6 months, but it's doing fine. I had a 60 trim w/ no clip done. You may have to tell him you are a Supra forum member.

I used this picture also and had no problems. It is correct. Just make sure the no. 1 piston is in the correct location.

The guy that rebuilt mine used 20w50 motor oil in mine. He said almost every tranny will work with it. He did mention that it would take some breaking in for the crunch to stop, but my main concern is that it hangs up going from 2nd to 3rd fairly often unless I do the up, over and up pattern. I...

Make sure you look at lift height. Some of those jacks will only lift to 14". I would go with a minimum of 16" raise height and more if I could get it.
