Just tack it.... lol It's not the filter that loosens, but the threaded stud. People have used loctite on the threads that go into the housing, but it will still loosen. I would do exactly what Ian had done in the past, with safety wire and a hose clamp. You can either do that, or convert...

Any car that you see that is made by both chrysler and mitsubishi. Diamond = Mitsu Star = Chrysler Motors. It does, in a way, include 3KGT/Stealth, but not to the extent of Talon/Eclipse/Laser
