LOL..Smurf's only drive blue cars :biglaugh: but I do feel kinda blue at times :)
1J hp? Last time I was in my bro's RHD 1J, it felt like my Toyota Echo > nice and smooth but little power :biglaugh:
Duane
Yes, when people have enough power and when they are actually running :D (hint hint)
Yes and have been for years :biglaugh: I like my OEM flywheel but it may change if I go Tilton since they can't use the OEM. If I go Spec, we will see what they say.
Doward: No problem :)

You may want to look at the revised rules as well (see below link)

SFI #'s? No problem there ;)

Actually it is 11.49 and faster. It has been a new rule placed last season. That one would work for me I am sure. Please let me know how much and PM me for details if you like. As far as OEM flywheel, noone can tell. :biglaugh:
What would be different on your set-up than on mine anyway?
Duane
Although the block and head has been machined you will want to lap the block (at least I would) Be sure to check for any rivets that may be on the new gasket and in the way of the clamping surface. (it happens) Torque to 90-100 (mine is at 100) with ARP studs.

I drove my car everywhere (when I had stock shot peened rods) 620RWHP and 651RWTQ. Nothing new about our rods being strong. In fact they are similar design to the 2J but longer.
They held on my car being stock for a few years and then the same rods I had shot peened and ran those for 2 years...
