also check the universal joints, i hear those go bad on these cars fairly often

dont change parts til you know whats wrong. you probably just have air trapped in there, if you filled the system up while the front of the car was angled down at all you will probably run into problems with air trapped in the heater core. Air= no heat= steam= all your symptoms
