Ron R didn't use MKIV coils, plus he has a MoTec ECU. Therefore, COP is an option.
BigAaron ( www.driftmotion.com ) used 1JZ coils using a custom harness job, it's outlined on the website. Stock 7M ecu.
COP uses little boots for "wires".
Air pockets like to hide. It's for good measure, do it anyway. Do you have a way to monitor the air content in your coolant system? Are you just assuming everything's good?
