u aren't losing traction in 1st gear? my brothers bpu 1jz loses traction in 1st on 225's... Maybe his is just a healthier 1jz cause he has it rebuilt? Iunno but they are brand new 225's on the rear from one of my old set of blades which i didn't end up using.

no clearcoat required, although it wouldnt be a bad idea to get extra shine. the final coat and buffign gives it a good shine. edit. stay away from maaco with any clearcoat. they use this cheap stuff that falls off in the car wash.
