celica came with 2 motors, the 1zz and the 2zz. the 1zz made i think it was 130 ish hp and 110ish torqu while the celicamade 180 and 120? i dotn remeber exact numbers but what i will say is that the 1zz was a far better platform to turbo. it also has torque lower on the powerband.

Lies, on that car, the 1zz is plenty. Well not plenty but w/e hehe. That and the fact they are pigs. honestly i do not see good gas mileage with one of those. or insurance.

ive got what apears to be a JDM motor for my spare one. Came out of a healthy 88 (assumign it was swappedin or soemthing) which i hope has oil squirters. The whole motor is weird because its got a JDM TB and blockoff plates for the egr, and my brake booster faces the right way hmm..
