I use an Odyssey PC680MJT and I love it. For a DD situation its perfect, and although I have never been left with not enough juice to start the car, if for whatever reason it sits for 3 weeks and its freezing or below outside it struggles a bit. Just something to keep in mind.
Hmm... interesting to hear what each cars setup does.
I'm running a PWR rad with Blitz cap (don't remember the exact pressure right now) stock fan setup with shroud. I can go WOT as long as I want it seems and I barely hit 100* water temp. (right now ~.8 kg/cm^2 stock turbo... and fuel cut)...
All I did was take my switches apart, buy some buttons from radioshack, and solder them (not directly of course) to the correct resistors on the board. Cruise main has no resistor so its easer, but accel and decel/set do. After that find the correct wires and hook it all up. An ohm meter helps a...
Okay, I just finished checking it out, and all I can say is wow. I took both covers off the back shocks and the rattley one was clearly visually loose. The solid side had 3-4 threads on top of the nut, the other had like 1-2 threads. So I took my deep socket and tightened it with a ratchet a...
Really... sounds good to me IJ! I'll go and see if I can retorque it in a little while. Still too cold outside for comfort, haha.
dirgle, I'll make sure I don't go too much over 20 ft/lbs. I heard someone else who cracked the pillow ball mount from overtightening as well.
It's the previous...
Hey SM! A while back I posted about a rattle in the hatch area and I came out with two options: hatch rattling from bad bump stops, or the strut is loose.
I replaced the bump stops, and the rattle continued.
Yesterday a buddy of mine was sitting in the back so I asked him to check the strut...
Hmm... I reused the clips from the origional install. So far have held up fine for me, now I of course I would reccomend getting new ones and I would if I do it again. Just saying that they can hold up in situations other then simans.
haha... I still wish you had made just a couple more projectsupra, I wanted one so bad when you had that GB going. Oh well, maybe someone can replicate it hopefully as high quality as your looked.
Wow, it looks like someone along the line didn't change the coolant in a VERY long time, or just ran water in it for a long time.
Anyway, that thing I couldn't even find in the EPC , someone else may but I looked through the engine, chassis, and electrics and didn't see it. I can tell you that...
Well... DUDE, I've seen a couple magazine articles with WRX's and 350Zs that prove they do increase performance by a few HP. They won't do jack unless you properly install them though.
EDIT: whatever that was you posted on ebay is junk though.
Are you sure the gun isn't just making a poor connection with the wire? It seems to be that if it was not getting spark intermittantly to all cylinders but 1 there would be more then a light miss or pop.
Missing at full boost for me was plugs that were too old and their gap had grown to much...
http://cygnusx1.net/supra/techtip/vacuum.html Tells all about vac readings. But I would get a real vac guage (I picked one up pretty cheap at sears.)and not base it off of your already lack luster Autometer guage.
Wow thats pretty neat, I hadn't realized some of these people had been on SM for so long.
I'm trying to remember when I registered on the older SM, couldn't have been all that long ago since I only have registration on SF since May 2004...
