BosoMKII's project! 56k cut your head off

The fuse needs to be upstream of the switch, so that any short in the switch or wiring to the switch will blow it. I'm not ragging on you, just offering some advice!

Where does the stock vacuum line go?

Not sure what you need? The layout is correct in your photos. That pipe connects to the surge tank via the piping described in my post above. If you think it is incorrect, just pull it off and check for vacuum at idle, there should be a strong pull.

Where does the stock vacuum line go?

It goes to the vacuum rail pipes bolted to the lower intake runners, which then comes up at the front and goes through the 90 degree curved rubber hose attached to the nib on the surge tank. pipe 25706 http://www.cygnusx1.net/supra/library/EPC/MKIII_NATO/291420/1708_3.html

    Here comes the hydrogen car

By the way...currently, global hydrogen production is 48% from natural gas, 30% from oil, and 18% from coal; water electrolysis accounts for only 4%. The majority of merchant hydrogen is produced by a process called steam methane reforming. Hydrogen is generated from a hydrocarbon (such as...

    Here comes the hydrogen car

Hydrogen (H2) does not exist in great quantities in nature. Yes, there are lots of hydrogen molecules in water, but it takes energy to convert water to hydrogen H2 gas. The classic way to get H2 is by electrolysis of water. So where do you get the electrical energy needed to convert it...

BosoMKII's project! 56k cut your head off

    LOL! A fuse would have been a good idea! Here's some data for current capacity of a few gauges of wire. AWG | dia | circ | open | cable | ft/lb | ohms/ ____ |mils | mils |air A | Amp | bare | 1000' 10 | 101.9 | 10380 | 55 | 33 | 31.82 | 1.018 12 | 80.8 | 6530 | 41 | 23...

    Fan Clutch

So much misinformation... it is Silicone oil and the clutch lockup is controlled by a bimetal coil spring in the front (clearly visible if you take the clutch out). The coil when hot rotates a plate inside the clutch that exposes a series of holes around the periphery of the clutch allowing the...

Pull off the ISC hose and place your thumb across the ISC port so that the air is completely choked off. Does it stall?

Huge oil reserve found in US gulf

Oil can be found deep because gravity pulls it down. Its a liquid after all and the earth's crust is not some monolithic impervious structure, its full of cracks, faults and so on. The reason a well revives is simply due to the movement of oil in the surrounding rock. Its no different...

Huge oil reserve found in US gulf

Well, that certainly explains why the supergiant Cantarell Field, which is the second-biggest field in the world by production, has recently peaked and started a terminal production decline. The earth's core is now made of oil I guess, and we can hollow it out and hope it all doesn't cave in.

Huge oil reserve found in US gulf

You are correct. The OPEC P90 reserves of about ~700bb have about ~300bb of suspicious entries that magically appeared in the 80's without new field discoveries being announced. The recent discovery of 3-15bb is important, but sadly represents only about at most a 3 month supply at the...

Huge oil reserve found in US gulf

As you probably know, there was a great discovery made in the mid 80's when OPEC revised their "proven" reserves resulting in a large increase in reserves with no new discoveries at all. OPEC quotas are based on proven reserves, and Kuwait and the others revised those numbers in 1985 to allow...
