He's talking about the beeping, like when you put in the key, don't have your seatbelt on, etc.... at least I think he is.
Now that I think about it, I wouldn't mind losing it either.
^ Because thats SO much money. ;)
Looks like an awesome product if it handles decent power and sounds reasonable. I doubt its on par with normal drivers as far as those 2 qualities but it'd be better then nothing.
I can't make any comment on what temps would be without the stock oil cooling setup on the GTE (some people say it does nothing, I don't believe really anything anyone says any more with stuff like that). I would say it'd be safer to keep up the flow just running the filter right on the stud...
I would be careful with the diameter of that tubing... using the stock setup as a full flow setup I doubt is going to provide enough lubrication. If that is what you're doing there.
Swap out the electronics on the AFM to the one your car came with. I'll go out on a limb here too... it is plugged in right?
My guess at 1st was bad 02 sensor as well, figured I'd try and cover all the bases 1st.
^You really ARE stupid, NA was just joking, who knew he'd stumble upon the truth.
If you want to keep it the most reliable, don't touch it with anything but Toyota OEM parts. Basic flow mods do tend to bring up gas mileage, but if you've got a heavy foot you will lose some of that reliability.
If you get used ones without the screw holes in them you could probably just replace all the clips and hardware and it'll at least mount up correctly if not the same color. Which, new replacements do come painted... makes it more worth the money.
I would look into what Setrab has to offer. IMO higher quality and you can get whatever you want basically. (IE, cools better with less weight and bulk)
Silver beat me to it, but like I said, you can get from tiny to HUGE, so size isn't an issue.
