    Kevin's 7M low hp build

You need a deep 14 six point socket. You can get them at Auto Zone. ---------- Post added at 12:51 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:49 AM ---------- Pistons do wear, but not really that much to change them though. I would buy it but since you are in Canada, shipping would cost a little...

    CajunKenny's Build Thread

Kenny, are you going to do the coil on plug mod from the IS? I am planning that as my first next thing before I get my car on the road, after getting it to idle properly. Still haven't gotten around to checking my Idle control valve because of school, hopefully this week.

    Kevin's 7M low hp build

DriftMotion has new stock NPR pistons with new pins for 120.00 plus shipping. It makes sense to get new ones after machining the block. I bought the hone tool at the parts store and did it myself. Took a little off to deglaze the block and put in my pistons.

Nice car Forced but is that a gap between the nose panel and then bumper or a shadow. I am not trying to make fun, just asking.

    CPS related problem

Check for codes. If you have any, fix them before setting your timing. Timing should be set at 10 BTDC. Make sure the cam lobe under the oil cap is pointing up. Align the marks on each cam gear on the plate behind them. Set the crank pulley on 0 degrees on the compression stroke. If you...

    T4 manifold ???

DriftMotion.com. They sell the new ones and you can add in the notes section that you want the new one. Give them a call, Aaron is a cool guy who knows what he is talking about. I bought the T4 manifold when it first came out and had both issues, the turbo sitting to far back and it hit the...

    Fuel injectors.......

I know that Aaron at DriftMotion sells a set of 700CC Denso, which are a good brand, that can use the stock rail and electronics. Obviously you will need some kind of engine management to control them. I plan on getting those soon as an upgrade though. If Aaron does not have something on his...

    To run ISCV or not?

What is the full lock system IJ?

    To run ISCV or not?

You can use a standalone to eliminate the ISCV but it takes a lot of work. Full lock on steering, A/C and wide open throttle release all can make the car stall without a ISCV.

Where Do I Get A Gauge Pod?

Where can I find a gauge pod? I can't find one for my 1989 Supra at Auto Zone or PepBoys. I know about the universal ones but the ones that are there are too wide. Where did you guys get yours from? I say that SupraSport.com has a gauge pod but their shipping is bad because I ordered from...

7MGTE Turbo A motor on ebay

If we could get the harness and ECU, then we would need the map sensor off the engine as well as the intake temperature sensor to run speed density on our 7M's, right?

    causes of a car bucking?

Bypass a 20 year old connector? What do you mean? If you are talking about the stock 02 sensor, leave it in there. If you want to do anything, replace it with a new one but don't remove it. The ECU won't know the fuel mixture.

    Idling Help Need....

I never understand why people who are going to spend money in upgrading internals and boring and changing turbos and manifold, don't lay the extra money down and get a new engine harness. It is what I did so I could eliminate wiring problems on my engine harness side of things. If a problem...

    550/lexus problems

Do not take your car to that person again. Any tuner who pushes your engine beyond what it is capable of, is retarded. I know a guy who will ask you for every single modification you have done to the car before he touches it.
