BOSS uses lipp stainless rear housings, their wastegates were better than the SPGT's at first... but I believe they're all on par now.
But yeah: "Buy them all and dyno prove them with reliability." seems like the only logical answer. :)
I wouldn't really want AFR tracking.
In open loop all the times, you tell it exactly what AFR to burn at all times... and leave nothing to computing.
And to add more to the timing, DrJ said as well, part throttle and off boost timing makes worlds of difference.
There really isn't a need for 2...
Seems with your AEM EMS, you can get a decent timing curve to accommodate 93 octane. Just monitor knock.
Hell, just get alky control and run pump gas for the rest of your life. :D
I stay at 16-17psi on pump gas GT4088 160-165psi compression per cylinder, Jake.
How much timing you give it, and how much heat & pressure will have alot to do with detonating.
It was important to me that there's a PnP harness.
A friend of ours here mentioned taking apart a junked ECU, and making a PnP harness pin-out.
Just incase something pukes, you can swap in an AFM and ecu and drive the car... granted you're not running 1200cc injectors or anything.
I was considering a FAST standalone as well as the AEM, but this is pretty neat.
The best thing I guess would be to sit back and watch others test it out.
See how it works.
