Sounds like lubing the pads was the 1st issue, then you pressing excessively hard on a dieing master cylinder finished it off. Pending a proper bleed of course.

So it's designed to angle them down more from the factory then? Of course you could simply adjust your baseline angle higher but... that wasn't the point.

I've been running RL 5W-20 for the better part of a year now as well. Only thing I can say is that OP seems to drop notably once you push it past 105C. Consumption did increase a small amount. On the most recent trip to the USGP with this oil I got astonishing gas mileage.

I would love to understand the thought process that brought you to that conclusion.
