The shop that honed my cylenders said it looked like i blew my hg between cylinders 1&2 causing preignition in cyl 1... "toasting it" the hole in my piston caused over pressuring of the crank case filling my intake with oil not sure if the hg was completely to blame or not but...

I was blowing soo much oil out the pcv system i had about 1.5-2 qts of oil in my intercooler
I cant figgure out how to link a thread on my phone but i have a thread titled confusing overheating issue on page 8 i figgured out y my car was smoking i burned a hole through my piston... when you took the turbo off was there oil in the exhaust manifold?
Ok so i have another related question...when the scratches were honed out i was barely within spec with stock pistons ... i recently read somewhere(that i cand find now) that forged pistons have tighter clearances.... are they bigger diameter than the stock pistons or am i gonna run into issues...

Op... i personally like the whale tail but if flashy Is what your going for that mkiv tail isnt the worst idea i have seen...just not something i would put on my car
Wow and some people believe stuff like this wouldnt happen if guns were banned........ i mean come on its not like u can buy teargas grenades in wallmart if crazy psychotic people can get tear gas, guns would be no problem to get ahold of.......... i kinda wonder if there were any carry permit...
Not sure yet... in the middle of moving havent really had a chance to pull timing cover... but i will for sure post my findings when i get a chance to dig into it
