    Oil squirter question.

If you keep the squirters, see if you can fine ones with higher opening pressure. A respectable member said 2JZ ones might work. They open too early and add that to the shitty pressure bled oil cooler, the usable oil flow is not put to good use. Deleting oil squirters is something usually done...

The new FRS and BRZ what do you think of these to tiwn cars?

Subaru and Toyota would be stupid to announce a turbo model even if it were real. All it would do is hurt initial sales for people willing to wait. This is not the first joint effort on this motor, the 2011 forester is an example. There will be a turbo model of this engine. WRC requires 2.0L so...

    wheel hub problem (video)

You cant diagnose anything by rocking a rotor back and forth without lugnuts. Its supposed have a gap between the studs. You test Wheels bearings with the wheels on and torqued. With the wheel off the ground grab the wheel at the 12-and-6 and 3-and-9 position and rock it. It should have little...

Time for my 7M-GTE re-build/upgrade and I have questions :)

Use standard size bearings like Clevite. King bearings are the ones i have heard to stay away from. Toyota bearing are expensive. If the journals are good they can polish it to size. I got my oil pump for $125 from rockauto.com. Spend the extra money on a full flow oil system with a...

Head, crank, rods, hg, valves/springs are all the same. Block is same but GTE has the oil drain drilled. The difference in compression is from GTE pistons being dished.
