Got my 90 running last weekend (bought the shell last year) and half my gauges don't work
it has aftermarket back plates(behind the needles) so I think whoever installed those messed them up.
.. My fuel Gauge and my temp gauge work my speedometer did work(till my buddy poked the needle not...
Fair enough... Do you see any issues with the way I am currently running it? Basically identical to a turbo setup(including injectors, maf, coil packs,ect...) differences being na exhaust manifold and the intake straight from throttle body to maf?
I guess what I was thinking (probably wrong)...
Yes, I couldn't find my stock exhaust elbow to connect my turbo to my exhaust to save my life
So I used alternative measures: I heard there was a n/a at the scrap yard so I got a manifold and power steering reservoir off of it
Read the thread..... Gosh:P
I got a na exhaust manifold so I shouldn't be getting any positive pressure Without a turbo
I am using the turbo intake manifold because I didn't want to relocate my coil packs.... Just not sure if using the na manifold would give me any noticeable power Increase to make it worth it
or if...
Tonight gonna get new plugs and wires weld up exhaust and try and figure out why my front shocks only have like 3 threads on the top available to put a nut on
And if anyone remembers the heat charles (gotadiesel) received last year trying to set it up when he switched locations I don't think they would want to try that again lol
Never mind got her Goin
*insert lots of happy swear words*
I missed driving a supra
This is awesome
Totally awesome
Even na these things are quick :-D
I can live a little wile longer without boost now that I at least got her running :-P
Ok installing my injectors that I was running on my turbo motor.... And um they seem loose if that makes sense.... Are they usually? That doesn't seem right... But I am not sure...
The fuel rail and spacers are identical with the na ones
I carry a glock 22 rtf with night sights I bought a couple years ago used off a buddy for 700 I will never sell it :-P
I would drop 300 o that deal in a heartbeat that's a killer deal
Oh wow so I should be using turbo injectors with the turbo maf and ecu.... Glad I asked..... Lol I do not know why I didn't think to ask sooner... Never crossed my mind that they would be different until I was standing here staring at my car and noticed the n/a maf is smaller than my turbo one...
