It Runs again. After a Bad ground and a bad alternator the car runs beautifully again :)

Kai it's to bad we never get any of those Hot Hatches here in North America. Dont know if they all technically clasify as that but damn a small car like that with the fun toys they had under the hood. Even now things like the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo is only but a dream here. :( IIFC the skyline...

Well i am quite sure my Alternator is dead. i have a fully charge battery in there and i fixed the ground. The car will not produce anything from the alt and it just slowly drains the battery. :(

what colour is the smoke? does it smoke all the time or just some of the time? acceleration only or decel?

i meant the rad hose sorry and IJ's right when do you want to read your water temp. the stock thermostat i think opens at 82C and your guy on the tread mill is way to distracting

well i fixed the that ground but i think the bat has no charge left in it ATM so i will have to charge it up or boost it and see where i'm at :)

and it seems the battery has been shifting around causing the wire to slowly break :S

w00t well i just found out that the ground coming off my battery is almost completely severed. I am hoping that is whats causing the problem going to fit it now.

the bat. cables seem fine is there anything in particular i should look for? and well the bat is pretty new and one of those spiral cell batteries :) I did drain it driving last night so i'll have to charge it up again and see how it does

i think my problem is bigger then a dead alt. just went to go check the car. put the key in the ignition and nothing absolutely no power what so ever. Not even dim lights not even a click from the starter and nothing registering on the TT :(
