Got me. I was thinking you were talking about M44/K98 ammo.
Heh, good luck with that oddball Swiss ammo if you go that route. Here's one source if you do go with one: http://www.sportsmansguide.com/cb/cb.asp?a=119309
Pretty much any K98 can be a "sniper" if you want it to be. Most modern...
If folks want I can post pictures of guns and their respective ammos. It looks like I already own alot of stuff yall are wanting to buy.
Here's a little handgun size reference chart I made:
haha, not at all. It's dirt cheap. Infact the 900 round surplus case I just got in only ran me like 50 or so bucks. That's very inexpensive.
Mausers are great. Very powerful round that will reach out and touch someone 600+ yards away.
Velocity has a MUCH greater effect on KE than mass...
Somebody better go tell all the folks in Nascar, F1, and Top Fuel to stop running 6061-T6 because it isn't suitable for their cars.
Load tolerances for T6 are far in excess of what you will ever subject your car to short of a catastrophic accident. Even then it still might hold up...
You mean change the connection point to force a weight distribution change?
I wouldnt think that would change very much becuase the hatch rests along weather stripping all the way around. So the weight distribution is already spread about the edges.
I dunno.
At the Track
Keep your car off as long as you can while in the lanes. Heat soak is not your friend. Ever wonder why some people push their cars while in the staging lanes? Keeping them cool by keeping them off.
Pop your hood while in the staging lanes, let it get nice and cool in there...
Be warned, this post may offend.
Feel free to skip the rant section and go directly to the how to.
Concepts:
When you launch your car from a stop there are two main things going on. Transfer of weight from the front to the rear and then hooking. If you want a better launch, you need...
If the badguy can hear you chamber a round, he just knows where to shoot. You should have already had a round in the chamber. You just let the badguy get the first shot in.
Also I have to say it because it's bugging the crap out of me. It's MAGAZINES!!!! They are not called clips...
The front bumper that is.
Anyone know of a non-ebay place to get the front bumper? Ebay is a no go because it comes with god awful sideskirts and rear bumper. When asking the ebay folks how much for just the front bumper, they think it's kosher to charge 90% of the full kit price.
Alright then, maybe just the first bend because of spacers and what not. Even with that it would make it alot easier for folks to get this installed.
So whos gonna step up?
No it doesn't. Ice is used only if you want temperatures below ambient, something that NO air/air can do. Without ice a liquid/air will cool to ambient.
It will take over 4 times longer to heatsoak a water/air as opposed to an air/air.
Even without an exchanger, with about a gallon reserve...
Are you talking about the pic in PorterzSupra's sig? If so thats an air/liquid intercooler. They are much more effective than air/air intercoolers.
Water's 4.186 J/(gK) >>> Air's 1.005 J/(gK)
Even with a relatively small resevior that doesn't utilize a heat exchanger an air/air will...
