that is nothing. Any good machine shop should be able to fix it. Or possibly send it off to a camshaft grinding/performance cam shop. Should easily be fixed for cheap.

yup, it has to stay in posession of the school or go to the recycler.. The instructor wants it to be a race car for open drags and other events in the area...and the body shop wants to do some paint work on it too.

yes thats the one..it has NEVER been beyond having the engine bolted in place. No wiring, ignition, driveline, anything...Still needs alot, but I took the project on cause I couldnt see it sit not touched for any more years

I would highly suggest doing a complete rebuild. The extra money spent will be well worth it, and you dont have to be afraid to up the boost. Go with a MHG and ARP studs aswell.
