this may sound weird, but couldn't you make something similar to a header for the intake to the ITB's. Then you'd get equal amounts of air to each cylinder with equal pressure. I could be wrong, but i thought that might help.
Look at it this way, if you finish with extra parts and everything checks out it just means you did the same as the factory but with less parts. Thats effecient.
I can't say a whole lot, I've had my 87 for 2 years and all I've done is strip it, but now I'm single again so it should be done in about 3 weeks....give or take a year:biglaugh:
