when you lock the car, sit in side and see if the lock goes all the way to the right or just half way. I know on my supra, if i lock the car and unlock over the passenger side the alarm will go off. It's because when i power lock it, it doesn't lock all the way. It stops half way.
I don't think it is going to work. Because the body plug of your 88 won't plug into your 90. I wouldn't even consider hard wired it in. I'd get a turbo harness from a 90 and call it a day. I've done the hardwired and believe me, its not worth it.
Just a thought, kind of off topic. I have a 2nd gen ls400 with 4 pots front, and are close to the same size as the TTs ( there have been threads on other forums of using TT pads on the LS400 calipers) and have always wondered, how come no one on the forum has thought about using these brakes on...
I'd stick with your rims. Even though i would have gone with the wheels that you're looking at if i have the choice between 2 when purchasing them. But those wheels are not TT, they're MKIV N/A wheels. 16's. So they're not worth it unless you want extra rims for the winter and fresh tires. I'd...
spun main bearings, knocked hardcore but i drove it 4 miles until it couldn't make it up a hill LOL. Had it towed home and then i started it and drove it into the drive way 7mge FTW!!!!
Definitely cooler with the targa on even w.o A/C. I hate being in the sun when it is hot outside. But A/C > both haha. But A/C + boost = fail :( at least on our Mk3 anyways
Nice car!!! But that dash is so weird. Right hand drive cluster in a left hand drive car. Also, the dash is made to fit it too. Whats going on here. Interesting though!!!
Hey, good luck with this car bro. I've met Patrick and seen the car in person. Clean swap and all was well done. Keep it in great shape. Where are you from?
I run the N/A diff in my 7mgte swap. Its nice but i think the turbo diff + LSD ( if your na was not a sport package) has better top end. Although the acceleration of the N/A diff is really nice
if you really want to keep her and fix her up later find a way to get it to your parents. Either that or sell it and start over when you're back. I'm in the same delima but my supra does run but I'm at school for 2 more years so i wont even drive it so i was thinking of taking it off insurance...
