Paint has to breath. When you wax the paint it seals the pores and no longer allows air flow through the clear and color. This causes the paint to break down faster than normal. A paint job that would have lasted 10 years will now only last about 5. the difference between wax and a hand glaze is...

I know it's been a while since you got it painted, but I noticed that someone told you to wax it. DON'T. when you wax that paint your just going to kill the life of the paint. If you want to make it shiney go but som 3M perfect it II hand glaze.

First off, props on your results. Not many people can paint with a rattle can and get the color even. Looks like stock. I've used the SEM trim black for alot of little stuff like moldings and stuff. Definately get some pics up when you get it in the car. DET666: they make other websites for that

Well, I got bored so I decided to polish the dipstick and dipstick tube. I also polished the water fitting on the back of the head but I don't have a good pic. It's all about the details. Hey MDC, if you so feel the need send me any spare parts you got layn around ;)
