Sorry, dragging my feet big time getting the car running again.
Anyway, I had the DP coated at JET HOT. It was shipped back to me on Tuesday, so I should have it shortly. I will definitely update this thread and my build thread as soon as everything is fitted.
Cometic is a MHG that, by specification, requires a surface that is not quite as smooth as what other MHG's require.
This doesn't mean it is supposed to be used on an unprepared block. Prep work will still be required to achieve the recommended RA on the block for a Cometic HG.
For now, It's my city though...
My car will be in there in about a week. Mine is also black w/ lip and headlight covers...
I actually made the graphic for a website, figured I'd use it until my car had a proper photoshoot.
Nice work. A rare opportunity to race a Ferrari on the street. You won't forget this one! At least that Ferrari is in the good hands of somebody who uses it every now and again!
Yeah, I don't have a problem leaving the factory narrowband in - in fact, that was the plan.
The question is, does the narrowband simulation offer me anything that I can't do with the NEO?
I am not really up to speed on the NEO or Zeitronix, as they are sitting in boxes awaiting the reassembly...
Thanks for the links, I will try to digest that tonight.
Yes, I wasn't really asking if the NEO and ZT2 were redundant (as I have them both). The question was whether using the narrowband switching point would be redundant (as the NEO will be used to tune AFR).
I guess the real question...
Well, I got the Zeitronix delivered on Friday. Once I get the car up and running, I'll let everyone know how the install went.
Just from an aesthetic standpoint, I am happy with the size/look of the display. Unlike most people here, I really don't like the look of aftermarket gauges all...
^^^ I have heard that before, which is why I mentioned the PS emulator plugin availability.
I can't figure out why people think the stock UI is "Horrible". It really isn't bad at all. Most of these programs have "Horrible" UI's because they have so many features packed into limited space...
For anybody looking for a good, free paint program:
Deep Paint is available on download.com.
It is not nearly as capable as Illustrator, but if you want a really good paint program with tons of extras, here you go!
